The VI edition of The International Euro Arab Film Festival takes shape. After three tears with the same logotype, AMAL decides renew his image for adapting to the news needs of the Festival. Our object, promote the idea of a bridge festival between two cultures. Our proposal, incorporate the arab language in the logotype. Faithful to the idea of that each year the advertising image of AMAL will be different, we have designed an innovative campaign that enhances its aesthetic and its informative function. With the slogan “Life AMAL with the senses”, promises to give free rein to the feelings through the eyesight, the smell, the touch, the taste ante the hearing. These five senses represent for AMAL everyone of the sections that make up the Festival that will celebrate of the 25th to the 31st of October in Santiago of Compostela. Like this, and according to the criterion of AMAL in its VI edition, the eye represents the section of fiction. AMAL defines this sense of the eyesight as the sense that discovers our vision of the arab world through our eyes. AMAL offers other way of seeing. The section of documentaries is related with the mounth. Across this section we can listen the voice of the documentaries of AMAL. These documentaries speak of the reality of de arab world, of its worries, its beauty and hope. The fingers represent the section of short films. AMAL defends that with everyone of the fingers we can palpate the essence of the more small. Besides these categories, the VI edition of AMAL will surprise with other two sections that have an intimate relation with the arab culture. One of these sections is the section tasting. AMAL relates this category with the sense of smell with it that we can submerge in the world of the sensations. Like this, with the section tasting, AMAL invites to enjoy of the 1001 tastes and scent of the arab world. With this aim of we have prepared a select menu with the best of the arab gastronomy. On this menu we combine different typical dishes as for example: cream of varied vegetables, brick pasta or salad. Then, as principal dish we have a selection of snaks of varied meats, and as climax a typical dessert, arab cakes with green tea. The section of concerts is the last of the sections of AMAL 2008. This section, identified with the sense of the hearing, is an enigmatic portal that leads us beyond the worldly through the sounds, of the music. But for can live the Festival with the five senses, is necessary to bear our earth in mind. For AMAL the heart is the place where we save the strong that made us be alive. Thank the heart we can perceive the world through our senses. It is the only place of our body that lose never the hope. The same hope (amal) that goes to the festival year last year and that have helped to the Festival to be one of the main festivals of arab cinema of Europe and the only festival in Spain settled in this thematic.
