Today the 30th of June is the last day for submissions to the VI edition of International Euro Arab Film Festival AMAL that will take place from the 25 to the 31 of October of 2008. So far AMAL organizers have received more than 400 films between feature films, documentaries and short films. This represents a slightly increase with regards to the films submitted last year, however the pre-selection committee have noticed a remarkable improvement in the quality of the films received, after the visualization of 60% of them. It is also remarkable the outstanding increase in the number of submitted works from countries such as Iraq and Saudi Arabia, that had very little cinematographic industry so far but this year they have tripled their production and submitted works to AMAL Festival.
