The members of the Pre-selection Committee have already been selected and have begun to see all the submitted works that have arrived to AMAL Festival. It is expected to have chosen the official selection (5 featured films, 5 documentaries and 20 short films) that we would see in the next edition of AMAL on the second half of August. The Pre-selection Committee is integrated by three professionals, very involved in the cinematographic sector, and a representative of the festival, it is made up of the following members: Miguel Anxo Fernandez Associated teacher of Audio-visual Communication in the University of Vigo, director of the magazine “Audiovisual Galego”. Cinema and television critic in La Voz de Galicia newspaper, collaborator of the program “Planeta Cine” of the Galician TV and “Diario Cultural” of the Galician Radio. Member of the Section of Communication, the Technical Commission of Television and the Technical Commission of Audiovisuals and Fine Arts of the “Consello da Cultura Galega”. He was vice-president of the Galician Audio-visual Academy. Coordinator of the program “Audiovisual nas Aulas” for the Galician Audio-visual Consortium. He has published numerous essays on cinema as well as literary fiction books. Grial Parga Cinema and television critic for EL PROGRESO newspaper and habitual analyst of the Culture pages. Audio-visual adviser for the weekend magazine “Extraradio” of the Galician Radio. Also adviser in a cultural magazine in Lugo City of the SER Radio. He participates in the programming of the Cinema rooms of the Metropolitan Forum of A Coruña and coordinates de Science and Cinema exhibition of A Coruña. He is also co-author of the documentary " "Ilusións visuais" and publisher of "Le Pourquoi Pas?", a scientific specialized editorial.. Coordinator also of the cycle “From Middle East with Love” of experimental cinema that was projected last year in Santiago during the previous AMAL edition.
