02.1Foundation

Established in 1984, Araguaney Foundation – Bridging Cultures is a nationwide, non-profit making cultural organization.

This organization is part of the Araguaney Group. This group of companies believes in the need to develop and strengthen an active voluntary contribution which then feeds back into the community it is part of in a beneficial way. The Corporative Social Responsibility, which is also known as Business Social Responsibility, aims to create a new balance between economic, social, cultural and environmental dimensions.

The name of Araguaney Foundation is taken from the national tree of Venezuela, the araguaney. This tree has big golden flowers and it can grow up to twelve meters in height and survive in the most difficult of conditions.

This foundation works to promote interaction between the different cultures found on our planet – but mainly works with Spanish, Latin American and Arabic culture; this is a priority for this foundation, characterized by its universal vocation.

Since 2008 the Foundation has been a member of the World Alliance for Cultural Diversity of UNESCO

And we are continuing to work with the “amal” (hope) of moving forward.
